Summary: This seminar covers the chemistry that occurs at the hormone level in both men and women. We will review the three different types of hormones that are generally found in the human body and explain their mechanisms. The seminar will cover how each type of hormone set reacts in the human body, and how these affect different people. In addition, the chemistry of the gender specific hormones, such as testosterone and estrogen, as well as how hormones affect electrolysis will be covered in more detail to help the audience understand how chemistry is a fundamental part of electrolysis both those undergoing the transitioning process as well as others.
Learning outcomes:
· Learn more about the chemistry that occurs at the hormone level in both men and women
· Improved understanding of three main types of hormones that are generally found in the human body
· Increased understanding of hormone chemistry for electrolysis including gender specific hormones as well as hormones due to age or medical conditions.

Dr. Sara Paisner is owner of Instantronics International, the manufacturer of the Elite Spectrum and other epilators and associated accessories, as well as the President of Synoptic Products, which developed and served the North American market for Ballet Probes for 35 years, but now focuses on electrolysis education via publications and seminars. Prior to these roles, Dr. Paisner worked in various research, sales, and marketing roles in the electronics (GE, Parker Hannifan and others) and pharmaceutical industries (IQVIA, Worldwide Clinical Trial, others) for over 20 years. She started her career as a research scientist developing materials for the electronic industry, some of which are likely in electronics you use today.

Dr. Paisner has authored the book Beyond Electrolysis Basics, articles in trade magazines, peer reviewed journals, and websites, and has multiple patents.
